§ 02 · The Calling

The pilgrimage,
in essence.

India does not greet you gently. She greets you fully — with colour, fire, spice, dust, devotion, and a love so ancient it bypasses the mind completely and goes straight to the heart.

This is a pilgrimage through three sacred lands of Mother India — Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Goa — across thirteen days of yoga, ceremony, sound, silence, and surrender.

You will practice Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga every morning. You will walk around the sacred mountain of Arunachala. You will stay awake through the night of Maha Shivaratri. You will offer what you no longer need to the fire. And you will land — finally, fully — in the arms of the ocean.

Running horses — held by the soil itself

Held by the soil itself — in palaces, on mountains, beside ancient lakes, and finally beside the sea.

Rajasthan · Tamil Nadu · Goa
§ 05 · The 'Why'

A Yatra is not a holiday.
It is a conscious surrender.

To the land. To the practice. To the ancient intelligence that lives in the soil of India and waits patiently for you to arrive.

We move through three sacred portals — initiation, descent, and landing.

Sanskrit — Mahā Shivarātri offering
— Mahā Shivarātri · The Great Night of Shiva —
ओं नमश्शिवाय
oṃ namaḥ śivāya
I bow to the auspicious one — the silent witness within all things.
§ 06 · The Three Lands

Three portals.
One thread of devotion.

Part I · Days 1–4 · initiation

Rajasthan — the colour, the heat, the dust.

राजस्थान
Jaipur · Jodhpur · Pushkar

We land in Jaipur — the Pink City — and are welcomed with a candlelit dinner and an opening sound meditation with Jac Høja. We practice yoga in a Maharaja haveli.

We move to Jodhpur — the Blue City — and immerse in colour, spice, and heat. We arrive in Pushkar — the only place on earth where Lord Brahma is worshipped. We bathe in the sacred lake. We offer flowers. We receive.

The Blue City · Jodhpur

Part II · Days 5–8 · descent

Tamil Nadu — the sacred mountain, the silence.

तमिौनाडु
Tiruvannamalai · Auroville

We fly to Pondicherry and make our way to Tiruvannamalai — the sacred city at the foot of Arunachala, the mountain that is Shiva himself.

On Maha Shivaratri — the holiest night of the year — we do not sleep. We walk the Girivalam, the 14 km circumambulation of the mountain, in the light of thousands of oil lamps, chanting, offering, surrendering. We practice Ashtanga in Auroville every morning — inside the community built as an experiment in human unity.

We arrive in Goa — and we exhale. Five days in a private villa in North Goa. Morning yoga. The ocean. Fresh fish and mango and coconut water.

Surfing if you want it. Silence if you need it. Music in the evenings. The Arabian Sea at sunrise. A final ceremony — and then, home. Carrying India inside you.
